Earl Weaver, according to J. McSwain, was sawmilling in San Augustine during the 1940s. He may have moved some of this machinery to the San Augustine mill. Hayes Smith sold to Earl Weaver the Camp Worth Lumber Company sawmill and timber land in Shelby County for $10. Earl Weaver agreed to be responsible for the Camp Worth indebtedness.
