J. A. Pepper & Brother was listed in the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association, January 1905 edition as a sawmiller and shingle maker at Stewart. Rusk is misspelled as “ Rush.” Neither Pepper nor Stewart is listed in the 1907 LCA credit book. Pepper is not listed at Tatum in 1907.
