Southern Industrial & Lumber Review reported that the Byley mill at Rebecca in 1906 was manufacturing 12,000 feet daily.
C. B. Byley mortgaged to Dilley for $130 a 30-inch, 3-saw edger on 25 June 1906.. Byley also appeared on the county tax rolls from 1904 to 1910. He in 1908 he was taxed on commissary goods, product, tools, and boilers. He also owned a cotton gin near or at his sawmill.
