Castle Lumber Company
In 1957, T. D. Castle bought from Commercial State Bank for a mortgage of $8,083.25 a complete sawmill in the city of San Augustine situated on the Chamber of Commerce property. Nelson T. Samson's directory in 1966 listed the sawmill as still active, cutting rough lumber.
