W. E. Davis, doing business as Davis Post and Lumber Company, for $1,500 in cash plus a note for $11,500 sold to Norbert Breitenback of Odessa the post peeling and timber treatment plant.
Norbert Breitenback apparently defaulted on his payments of the old Davis Post and Lumber Company. W. E. Davis and Judy Davis sold two post mills for $45,000 to John Matthew Cartwright, known as the Davis Post and Tie Company. Equipment included a Morbark peeler, an Efrud peeler, trucks, vats, treating equipment, and moving equipment.
