Frank Thompson Shingle & Sawmill

Frank Thompson was reported to be cutting daily 15,000 feet of yellow pine lumber at San Augustine in 1915.
Frank Thompson's mill appeared in the San Augustine County Register of Chattel Mortgages and Liens on Machinery and Other Manufactured Articles Situated on Realty, I, on July 1, 1919. He had borrowed $533 using his shingle and sawmill as collateral. In 1922, on a $729.45 loan from Commercial Guaranty State Bank, he bought a steam engine and boiler, a Curtis shingle mill, etc.
