McFarland Brothers Lumber Company

The McFarland Brothers Lumber Company had a sawmill in San Augustine County as well as near Tenaha in Shelby County.
In 1906 the mortgaged for two 38-inch Dixie head blocks, according to San Augustine County records. In 1907 and 1907 they were taxed on on tools and boilers and in 1907 on a commissary, product, tolls and boilers. They were not listed for tax purposes in 1909 or 1910.
McFarland Brothers Lumber Company on 20 December 1906 mortgaged to Dilley & Son for $800 a Hall and Brown #14 Mississippi double-surface matcher.
