Troy Carroll
According to San Augustine county records, Tom Runnels had a crosstie mill, located about three and a half miles south of Broaddus on Highway 147, which he sold to T. M. Carroll in 1952. Carroll, also in 1952, bought from W. S. Kirbow and Willie Holley a sawmill, carriage, head blocks, one 52-inch inserted tooth circular saw, an International power unit, and livestock.
