L. Kusenberger, in an oral interview with Vernon L. Beasley, recalled a Woods Mill had been located at Chinquapin, about twelve miles south of San Augustine, from the 1950s through the 1970s.
This mill may have had some connection with the Acorn Lumber Company of Chinquapin.
