Clabe Byley

T. L. Bobbitt, in an oral interview with Vernon L. Beasley, recalled that Clabe Byley operated a steam-powered, multi-milling facility at Swansville. Located twelve miles south of San Augustine and near the Sabine County line, the sawmill town had a commissary and tenant houses.
