Shipp & Welch
Shipp & Welch had a sawmill close to the Garrison-Norton mill three miles west of Rush, according to a Beaumont newspaper in 1905. Until a new post office was established at Rush, all postal service for Rush's inhabitants was handled at the Pineland office.
