Temple-Inland Forest Products, Inc. (particle-board)

Temple Industries, Inc., announced in July, 1964, that its Pineland complex would add a new particle-board plant. Annual capacity would be eight million square feet of 3/4-inch basis for particle-board and flake board. The processing of two tons/hour could be easily increased by 300 percent. Panels of 5-inch by 18-inch with thicknesses from 1/4-inch by 4-inch and densities of eighteen to fifty-five pounds per cubic foot would be produced from pine planer mill waster for splinter-type boards and pine pulpwood for flake board.
