Chadwick & Killian
Chadwick & Killian bought from W. R. Whittles, for $5,000, a Corley sawmill, a French edger, a 1937 Chevrolet truck, six mules and log wagons, located four and one half miles northwest of Bland Lake, San Augustine County, probably near Patroon Creek. This may be the beginning of the J. D. Chadwick Lumber Company of Center mentioned in a 1957 directory.
