A. M. Grambling

A. M. Grambling operated a sawmill plant at Clawson during the early years as did the Clawson Lumber Company. Angelina County Deeds of Trust note that the plant included not only the sawmill but two planers and a dry kiln as well. Grambling provided a commissary and tenant housing for his work force. The sawmill and kiln burned down on August 23, 1891.
