O. M. McCauley & Sons operated a circular sawmill from at least 1905 to 1907 or later in Shelby County. The equipment included an Ames boiler and engine, head blocks for the sawmill carriage, and at least one circular saw. In 1907, they were shipping their lumber to B. A. Barnes planer in Center.
