The Prince & Ross Lumber Company, according to a 1966 directory, employed less than twenty-five workers. It was not listed in 1987 Directory of Forest Products Industries In Texas. It may have become the Ross Lumber listed in the 1987 Directory of Forest Products Industries In Texas. Ricky Lout, when interviewed by Vernon L. Beasley, recalled that Ross Lumber was located abut ten miles south of Timpson on Highway 87 from the 1950s.
