Floyd Wallace

Floyd Wallace mortgaged, in 1946, his sawmill and planer to Commercial National Bank, in Nacogdoches, for $5,010. This may be the same Floyd Wallace who was sawmilling at Cushing in 1934. In 1947, Wallace executed a mortgage, on March 18, 1947, to the Commercial National Bank on his sawmill, twenty horses and mules and six log wagons. The following month, he mortgaged to Peoples Bank of Shepherd two log trailers. In May, 1947, he mortgaged to Peoples Bank some livestock and trailors located at his mill site at Coldspring. In July, 1947, another mortgage revealed he had a new International 110-horsepower engine, five trucks, and a trailer.
