Rio Bravo Lumber Company
W. T. Block claims that before the Doucette mill began operations at Sour Lake, at least four sawmills were cutting timbers and pilings for the oil field industry. The only one of the earliest sawmills that we have a name for is the Rio Bravo. This mill was probably short-lived for almost no other information about it is known at this time.
