R. W. Snelling owned a sawmill at Sunset, later Olive, in 1884. Olive, Sternenberg were operating their mill at Olive by then. The town is listed as Sunset in an 1884 railroad directory. Snelling would later operate a sawmill at Midline Switch in Montgomery County at the turn of the century.
