Newby, Hargis, Christian, Ervin and Ervin

Henry Hargis, R. B. Christian, Kake and Will Ervin operated a steam sawmill on leased land from Sam Ervin and Henry Fluellen, with a rail switch at Bettie. In March 1907 the partners sold a one-half interest in the operation to J. B. Newby.
