Dolinski, Davis, Greer, Horsell
H. D. Knight, according to Upshur County deed records, had been timber leases in Upshur County since 1904. Timber stands included areas in the I. W. Hathcox, William Britton, and Dickson Parker surveys. A deed record filed in 1907 reflects that Knight's mill was then in operation, and located about fourteen miles east from Gilmer.
H. D. Knight sold his sawmill plant to Phillip Dolinski, C. G. Davis, and J. B. Greer, P. W. T. Horsell on 6 February 1907 for $16,800. The plant and property included 515 acres of pine timber, a shingle mill, a Fisher and Davis sawmill, a 12-inch by 14-inch Atlas 50-horsepower Atlas boiler, a 3-saw Dixie edger, a Hall & Brown 12-inch planer-molder, two gummers, a shingle machine, three log wagons, houses, sheds, and 250,000 feet of lumber.
