Joseph William Ogburn Lumber Co
Timothy K. Perttula noted in The Big Sandy Project that the J. W. Ogburn Lumber Company had a sawmill in 1900 located on the Jefferson Road near the path of the Texas Southern. The sawmill is listed at Merrimac in the Reference Book of the Lumbermen's Credit Association for 1905 and in 1907. The company also had a sawmill in Marshall.
