Hawn Sawmill Company
Hawn Sawmill Company, with offices at Athens, operated mills at Chandler and Winona in 1928. Hawn Lumber at Chandler by 1934 no longer operated a sawmill. It had become a retail yard. The mill included a circular sawmill, a planing mill, edgers, trimmers, dry kilns, and a commissary.
