G. M. Cecil
George Meggs Cecil owned at least two sawmills in Walker County: one about two miles north of Huntsville and the other at Sion, in the northwest part of the county. The first sawmill Cecil bought from William H. Allen about 1892 at the spot that became known as Sion.
