L. P. Duett and J. P. Morrow

L. P. Duett and J. R. Morrow owned a sawmill and its machinery, located about six miles northeast of Huntsville, before March, 1895. Most of the equipment came from the old W. C. Josey sawmill at Cincinnati. Morrow and Duett joined with Clarence D. Oliphint to form the Oliphint Lumber Company at Oliphint's Switch, about one and a half miles north of New Waverly. Morrow and Duett moved their machinery to the Switch by March, 1895, which was date that the partners mortgaged it.
