Guy Chandler, of Huntsville, reported to W. T. Block, of Nederland, that an unknown mill burned down at Rome, in Walker County. The date is unknown. J. C. Tabor, who worked at the above mill, later served as the sawmill's bookkeeper and postmaster at Oakhurst.
