Roger C. White of Crockett Heading Company, according to a Houston County record, produced hardwood headers at the plant located on twenty-five acres “on the north portion of the yard.” In 1948, Hervey sold his half-share in the company to R. C. White, including the sawmill, tractors and drag saws, for $3,500.
