G. A. Delaney
J. M. Jordan was a Houston County sawmiller around 1900 and later. He had a sawmill at Lovelady in 1906 and possibly one a year earlier at Creek.
In February, 1900, he sold a second-hand sawmill outfit to G. A. Delaney, consisting of a steam engine, a boiler, circular saws, belting, all of which had been bought from W. B. Worthington in 1897; also a grist mill, a blacksmith shop, a blower a sawdust elevator, three log wagons, and livestock.
Aldrich recorded that Worthington had moved to Nevil's Prairie during the 1870s. There he farmed, and later operated a sawmill and grist mill with Jim Speer.
