Bayer Lumber Company
The Gulf Coast Lumberman reported that a fire ravaged the sawmill facility of the Bayer Lumber Company at Spring on June 14, 1954. The loss was estimated at $150,000. The facility probably was rebuilt, for it was listed in the 1957 edition of the Directory of Wood-Using and Related Industries in East Texas.
