Listed in the Santa Fe Circular of 1904, Hawthorn Lumber Company was manufacturing 20,000 feet of lumber daily at Zirath, just south of Roganville. In a 1905 credit-rating listing, the Company was listed at being at Roganville; at the end of the report an alphabetical listing of communities reads “Zeerath, Jasper Co.” Hawthorn is not listed at Roganville in the 1907 LCA rating.
