Texas Tram and Lumber cross-tie sawmill
Texas Tram and Lumber Company moved its cross-tie sawmill from Cairo along with its logging camp at Magnolia Springs in 1896 to Kirbyville. The small tie mill produced timbers and ties for the Texas Tram & Lumber Company's steam logging tram road and possibly for John Henry Kirby's Gulf Beaumont & Kansas City tram road beginning in 1893.
