Western Naval Stores Co.
Webb in the Handbook of Texas recorded that the Western Naval Stores Co. operated a turpentine camp at Turpentine from 1907 to 1918. This was the headquarters for an operation that ran other camps in Sabine, San Augustine, Newton, and Jasper counties. Southern Lumberman note in April 1908 that L. W.
