The American Lumberman in February 1908 reported that C. T. Bunch, who operated a small sawmill west or Beaumont, had to file for bankruptcy. His assets were little more than a $11,000 while his liabilities exceeded $7,000. He had not been able to get his money for some shipments he had earlier made.
