Strapac’s work notes that the Benton Lumber Company of Nona, Texas, had purchased two locomotives, in 1918 and 1923. [note: the Benton Lumber Company in 1918 was the Nona-Fletcher Lumber Company.] The Brown Hardwood Lumber Company, in contract to supply Kirby Lumber Company with hardwood crossties for its tram operations, used the �Fletcher� tram road in 1922 and 1923.
