Oden Lumber Company tram road

J. M. and M. E. Oden operated a sawmill at Flanagan, in Rusk County, after 1900. Their tram road ran from Flanagan for twelve miles to Boren in Panola County. In January, 1907, it consisted of a ten-mile steel tramroad, a locomotive, five log cars, a hand car, a push car, etc., at Boren. The sawmill was located at Flanagan.
