Events & Programs

Adults are invited to attend a short presentation and hands-on session that relates to the lecture. The lectures cover a range of topics and is free to the public. Past topics: edible plants, canning, woodturning, sawmill tokens, etc. If you have any questions, please call (936) 632-9535.

Join the Texas Forestry Museum for a fun event, Tree Pose: Yoga for Kids. Kids can enjoy a new way to be active outside. This is a free event. Sponsored by Livewell Athletic Club

The museum will have its I-Spy Halloween Trail again this year. Families are invited to hunt for Halloween characters and win fun prizes. This is event is free to the public. The activity is available Monday – Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm.

This reception honors the new inductee that will be added to the Texas Forestry Hall of Fame. The Texas Forestry Museum invites you and your family to celebrate the holidays at our annual Santa Claus Express. This event will be on Friday, December 2nd from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the museum.
